Jamie’s trial experiences began immediately following her graduation from law school at Ole Miss in 2005. Since then Jamie has litigated cases from inception to final judgment in state and federal courts across Mississippi and Louisiana. Jamie is licensed to practice in both her home state of Louisiana and her beloved Mississippi.

Jamie’s practice focuses on defending governmental entities, with a particular concentration on municipal law and school law. Jamie has also handled multiple family law matters, contract negotiations, employment matters, premises liability and products liability actions as well as providing insurance coverage counsel.

Additionally, Jamie is an experienced appellate attorney having filed briefs and argued multiple times before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Mississippi Supreme Court and the Mississippi Court of Appeals. During her career, Jamie has presented four oral arguments to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals alone.

Jamie has been named a “Rising Star” by her peers in the magazine “Super Lawyer” for the last several years. Prior to law school, Jamie was a journalist, reporting and anchoring the news in Mississippi. Her interview experience in journalism serves her well in the courtroom and in trial preparation.
